William began his career on his family’s mixed farm in Yorkshire, gaining hands-on experience in livestock and crops. After earning a BSc in Agriculture, he launched his own career, leading the Minterne Estate in Dorset at age 27 and managing its transition to a sustainable, profitable operation through Sentry Farming. He then expanded internationally, pioneering agricultural investment and transformation in Central and Eastern Europe. Over the next 30 years, he led large-scale agribusiness ventures across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Australasia. Most recently, William served in senior executive roles at SALIC, Saudi Arabia’s sovereign food security arm, where he built a global investment portfolio and helped maintain national food supply during COVID-19. He has held board roles worldwide, driven acquisitions, and led projects across continents. William combines operational leadership with deep knowledge of global food systems and is passionate about sustainable growth and innovation in agribusiness.
